The Westlake Village Symphony Is celebrating America’s 250th anniversary and the 175th anniversary of California statehood on our May  3rd concert.

The special program will feature all music by American composers themed around liberty and freedom in its many forms

• Music of the American Revolution

• Music from the Civil War and World War II eras

• Patriotic favorites such as America the Beautiful and the Stars and Stripes Forever

• Music by 20th century American composers including Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein 

• Music celebrating California, including “I Love You, California,” the official state song 

Highlights include:

• Fanfare for the Common Man 

• West Side Story

• Suite from Hamilton

Also featured will be world-renowned soprano 
Abiodun Koya singing American the Beautiful, Battle Hymn of the Republic and many more!
